City with soul!!!

Chelsea and I are enjoying the process of putting together this website and learning more about Jackson. I have always taken great pride in my hometown, but as I dig into our history, tradition, and culture to collect data I find myself even more impressed with the "City With Soul".  I have been talking to a mentor of mine from JSU, and he reminded me of how many dedicated educators and musicians have worked to try to provide access to high quality music education for our kids. I am inspired by the work that has been done. I am grateful to those who have paved the way for us.  I look forward to the challenges to come.
